Soda Pop, Sundresses and Sunshine

Summer is my favourite season, hands down!  I look forward to the late sunsets, trips to the lake and loads of fresh produce.  And, Summer is Perch's busy season, with so many opportunities to participate in local festivals, events .... and photo shoots!
Kristina, owner of KCL Photography, is an accomplished wedding, portrait and family photographer based in West Kelowna, BC. She and I met for a coffee in the Spring, and brainstormed a few ideas for projects we'd like to do together.  Fast forward to a particularly scorching Sunday afternoon in the Okanagan; we finally had an opportunity to work together on a 'Picnic In The Park' photo shoot we thought would be lot of fun. Kristina and I scouted out a bright grassy field that is framed in apple and cherry orchards for the shoot. When we approached the landowners about using the property for our project they graciously agreed, and even brought out their '66 Mustang convertible for Kristina  to photograph!  She was a great addition to the photo shoot.... take a look!
